Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC on November 5

After months of speculation, Rockstar has just confirmed that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is real – and it's the 5th of November.

The confirmation has just been posted on Rockstar's Twitter page. There is not much to do unless we have it now and it is (very) soon.

Red Dead Redemption 2 looks phenomenal on PS4 and Xbox One, so we can only imagine what kind of visual enjoyment awaits us when it comes to the more powerful PC platform.

Pre-order 9th of October

According to the Rockstar website, you can pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PC on October 9 through the Rockstar Games Launcher. If you download the Rockstar Games Launcher before October 8, you also get the classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas game for free.

It looks like Rockstar is going to be the first Red Dead Redemption game to hit the PC, as it includes a number of new graphical and technical enhancements that should make it better than ever.

There will also be new content in story mode, including new bounty hunting missions, gangs, weapons and more.

If you preorder before October 22, you can choose two free games:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
  • Bully: scholarship issue
  • LA Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

Pre-ordering through the Rockstar Games Launcher will also include free upgrades to the Red Dead Redemption 2 Premium Edition, and the Special and Ultimate editions will receive a $ 20 discount each.

The Rockstar Games Launcher also includes the following pre-order bonuses:

  • Warhorse for story mode
  • Treasure map for the story mode
  • Cash bonus for story mode
  • 50 gold bars for Red Dead Online

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Online

PC players also have access to the online world of Red Dead Online, which includes all previously released console updates.

Best of all, unlike PS4 and Xbox One, you do not have to pay for online access, so Red Dead Online on the PC is completely free.

Come to other stores October 23rd

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC also enters other online stores on October 23, including the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming and the Humble Store.

If you want to buy it on Steam, you have to wait even longer – it will come on the Valve platform in December.

It will also come to Google Stadia, the game streaming console.

As we learn more about the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, we'll be sure to update you.
