The launch date for Oppo Reno 2 was confirmed on 16 October for the launch of the mobile phone in the UK with a revelation event in London.
If the Oppo Reno 2 seems familiar, it's because the flagship of the Android smartphone has already been announced in China, so we know exactly what it will provide.
The headline features provide a full photo potential with four rear view cameras and an announced 20x zoom.
Reno 2 specs
The Oppo Reno 2 is very similar in design to the previous model and has a hinged shark fin camera, with the face of the phone on a neat and frameless 6.5-inch AMOLED display (2400 x 1080 resolution) has ,
Inside (at least in the China version) are a 3,915 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 730 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of memory (expandable via microSD).
This chipset is a mid-range offering and could push the Reno 2 under the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, which hit the market earlier this year.
The above-mentioned camera array offers no less than four vertically arranged cameras with sensor resolutions of 48 MP, 13 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP. On the front there is a 16MP snapper.
It is unlikely that the Oppo Reno 2 will change too much for the arrival in the UK, but there is a possibility that memory, RAM and performance will be adjusted. In addition, we will probably learn the price and release date on October 16th – we will be reporting live from the event to show you all the details as announced.
