Since his surprise announcement a month ago, Netflix's El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie has been playing his cards very close to his chest and refusing to even glance at his main character, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).
With the arrival of the film on Netflix (and in selected cinemas) in just two weeks, it's time to air the veil of Vince Gilligan's successor, Breaking Bad, and that's exactly what the service did with the release of El Camino's first trailer in full length.
The opening moments of the teaser indicate that Jesse is not feeling well. We see Walter White's former apprentice looking tired and disheveled at the police in the shelter of his trusty old friend Skinny Pete (Charles Baker). We also get another familiar face in the form of Badger (Matt Jones), who is pretty much the only person Jesse can count on.
Granted, in the El Camino trailer, few words are spoken, consisting mainly of moody and intriguing cutaways, the Reuben and the Dark in the haunting song & # 39; Black Water & # 39; play.
Long-time fans of Breaking Bad will notice many signs of past events in Jesse's life, and you'll also catch a glimpse of the former meth chef setting up a Heisenberg-style trap with a blowtorch and some gas cylinders.
While the trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie has managed to ask us more questions than before, we could not be more excited to see where Jesse's story will take him this time. Luckily we just have to wait for the movie to land on Netflix on October 11th to find out.
