Huawei announces Huawei Vision 4K TV with pop-up camera



Who does not watch TV these days? In addition to the hype surrounding the upcoming OnePlus TV, mobile phone maker Huawei has also hit the road with a HarmonyOS TV, the Honor Vision – and it looks like another device called Huawei Vision is also on its way ,

The Huawei Vision is a 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch 4K Ultra HD TV, which was unveiled at the Huawei Mate 30 launch event on September 19th. The special feature of the device is the intelligent HarmonyOS platform, which may also be touted for the company's smartphones, under certain prohibitions for Huawei phones and wavering support from Google.

Huawei Vision comes with Huawei's IoT Control and HiLink Smart Home Platform to connect to your home smart gadgets. Microphones in the remote control also respond to voice commands – we are told that they are "always listening" – while the remote also uses a USB-C charging port and touch-sensitive controls.

Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei, said it was "more like a big-screen smartphone and a smart speaker" than a TV when he announced this at the inaugural Huawei Mate 30 launch.

There is not yet a price or a release date, but as the Honor TV models have so far only been announced for the Chinese market, we hope that Huawei Vision will come to the US, the UK or Europe, as we learn more.
