Epson has unveiled two new large format printers, which the company claims are the most advanced, and have been manufactured with customer feedback from previous models in mind.
The Epson SureColor P-Series printers are the P7570, a 24-inch large format printer, and the 44-inch P9570. Both have a new 2.6-inch PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead.
In addition, both devices use Epson's 12-color pigment ink UltraChrome PRO12 for a broad color gamut. Prints of "excellent" quality are promised with high color accuracy and vibrancy.
Not only do you get good results with these printers, but Epson also promises to deliver prints quickly, as these P Series models are up to 2.4 times faster than their predecessors.

The manufacturer also notes that these printers have nozzles for matte and black photo inks, meaning that no ink change is required. In addition, a black coating is available which provides excellent black density as well as improved sharpness.
Epson has provided a 4.3-inch color touch screen control panel, which can also be fully customized to suit the user's preferences.
Henry Wilhelm, director of research at Wilhelm Imaging Research, commented on testing the new printers and inks from Epson: "Preliminary data for Epson's 12-color UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks in the new SureColor P7570 and P9570 provide impressive museum-quality prints with WIR Display Permanence Ratings This equals or exceeds the ratings of UltraChrome HDX inks for up to 200 years for color printing and up to 400 years for black and white printing. "
The SureColor P7570 and P9570 Standard Edition printers are expected to be available in December with sales of approximately $ 4,695 and $ 6,595, respectively, including a one-year Epson Preferred warranty.
