Bissell CrossWave Multi-Surface Cleaning System – What You Need to Know

- Reverse grain test – A slow passage forward over the area gave perfect results, not leaving a drop of milk or oat grain. Super impressive
Bissell CrossWave Multi-Surface Cleaning System – Excellent stain removal and dry soil in minutes makes it an attractive all-rounder
The CrossWave is a unique floor cleaner that cleans, cleans and sucks. This is no different from most dedicated carpet cleaners, but Bissell’s multi-surface cleaning system also claims to treat hard floors and promises enough power to suck up daily debris in the same operation. No need to pre-vacuum your floors before removing the wet cleaning tools.
As with previously tested Bissell cleaning products, the CrossWave is durable, strong and well made. It is very easy to assemble and has a rather edgy look with its shades of blue and titanium. Equipped with a 7.5m long cable, it offers great flexibility of cleaning thanks to the cable winding around the back of the machine for easy storage.
The swivel floor head offers great maneuverability and is equipped with a large nylon and microfibre brush that helps to clean the big mess. Smartly, the brush bar can be kept clean without removing it from the floor head.
The CrossWave comes with a cleaning tray that you simply fill with water, tilt the machine into the back and press the hard ground button for about 15 seconds. The brushbar turns in the water, cleaning the brush and the fibers; Dirty water is deposited in the dirty water tank of the machine.
The clean water tank contains a mixture of 828 ml hot water (tap water) and Bissell cleaning solution with indicator lines. This is easily inserted into and at the back of the main body to facilitate filling.
The dirty water tank has a capacity of 620 ml and is also easy to clip on the main body to empty it. Where the CrossWave does a great job picking up dirt around the house, the dirty water has earned its name.
The functions of the Bissell CrossWave multi-surface cleaning system – remarkably easy to use and much lighter than a normal-sized carpet shampoo
The handle controls are well placed in the length of a trigger finger and are described as digital touch controls. This title may be a little big for push buttons, but they feel solid and are easy to use.
The carpet and hard floor modes are distinguished only by the fact that more cleaning fluid is dispensed onto the carpet-mode brush. The speed of the brush and the suction power remain unchanged in both settings.
In our tests, in our tests, the CrossWave performed beautifully on carpets, hard floors and stubborn stains. The cleaning liquid and the scrubbing action of the bars were sturdy enough to remove dried mud stains, but soft enough not to scratch more delicate surfaces such as a sealed wooden floor.
The suction power of the CrossWave is exceptional and its ability to handle everyday dirt as well as spills is impressive, though, be warned: a tank filled with dirty mixed water, dog hair, d & rsquo; Eggs, milk and cereals do not suit those with delicate stomachs!
The carpet cleaning was very good, but it does not yet have the deep cleaning capabilities of Bissell’s larger and more aggressive rug cleaning machines. However, whether it is to quickly refresh a carpet or to cope with a recent spill, it does the job very well and leaves the surface slightly wet and dries quickly.
The CrossWave is far from being an economical machine and its use is quite noisy, but for the versatility of floor cleaning, we have a hard time finding a more complete solution.
Should I buy Bissell CrossWave Multi-Surface Cleaning System?
If you’re looking for a super-light, light-weight machine that delivers excellent wet cleaning results on floor coverings and carpets, then CrossWave is very powerful. It’s beautiful, easy to use and you can even clean the floor without removing it.
It is not designed to offer deep cleansing of carpets as a dedicated shampoo, but it does very well stains except for the deepest stains. It leaves the battery clean, neat, fresh and slightly damp. It is even better to clean hard floors, combining a very effective washing action with a powerful vacuum drying.
The CrossWave is quite noisy and the asking price is high, but this new player Bissell start does not compromise the quality or efficiency of cleaning.
