In many ways we tend to the description Night in the woods When life is strange, Bojack meets Horseman. The interactive dialog bits are reminiscent of the former, while the overarching themes for dealing with mental health problems in the latter apply.
Night in The Woods itself was developed in Unity by Infinite Fall, the virtual studio where you'll find coder and composer Alec Holowka, as well as Twitter joker draftsman and animator Scott Benson. Together, these two have not only created a game, but a spectacular world full of assignable characters, with which you will hopefully resonate.
You take on the role of Mae, a cat who dropped out of college and recently returned to her hometown of Possum Springs. It's a completely narrative game, as are modern point-and-click adventure games, with very few hooks that grab your attention. If you're into Telltale Games or Life is Strange, Night in the Woods may be the best laptop game for you.
The best part is that it runs pretty smoothly with integrated graphics, as it has an appealing but not very sophisticated art style. This is certainly a title we will talk about for many more years, even if it was cracked at the Game Awards.
